Hooda Math Escape Games Unblocked
When we talk about video games, we do not hesitate to mention their many benefits. We will talk without holding back lucid dreaming, improvement of cognitive abilities, or the better risk management and mental flexibility shown by the “gamers”. But oftentimes, the discussion moves away from the very foundation of gaming entertainment: the fact that video games are first and foremost, one of the most evolutionary forms of entertainment of recent decades.
Video games, the beating heart of the entertainment industry
We cannot evoke evolution and gaming entertainment without mentioning online video games, and especially massively multiplayer games. To illustrate the arguments of this article, we have chosen hoodamathescape.net! Games that have the merit of being free, can be played with any browser and are available in many languages. You will have no trouble checking and confirming the points we will make!
A growing industry
The growth of the video game world is not just about the growing number of players. Admittedly, there are more and more players, but it is especially the means invested in the development of games that arouses admiration. Seven years ago, James Cameron used hyper-advanced motion capture technologies and unpublished 3D modeling techniques to create Avatar. Today, these same tools are used almost daily to develop ever more impressive video games.
For example, we could talk about Beyond Two Souls or Detroit: Become Human … but these technologies do not just appear in this type of game. Plarium, for example, used it to produce video presentation of some of these MMOs. For example, you will find on YouTube the video that perfectly crystallizes the heart of this original MMORTS. The video was wisely titled “Moment of Glory”.
The new pillars of the entertainment industry
The entertainment industry is a real multidisciplinary maul. A well-exploited idea tends to go around every imaginable medium. And even if in the past the basic support was the book or the movie, this is absolutely not the case anymore. Because, unlike a movie or a book, video games have two major advantages. The first touches the interactivity of the content, the second is the permanence of the community.
When a film meets success, it creates a community of fans and enthusiasts who try to keep it up to date. In the case of a video game, however, the community is born de facto. And that’s not all, it tends to grow, and continues to be active years even after the initial release of the game. For example, we can take the example of hundreds of millions of players who attend like StormFall on the internet and on mobile devices; who play Nords; Heroes of the North, or Sparta War of Empires!
And especially, unlike movies or games, the development of the story is not imposed on players. It is they who shape it by making decisions, playing together and evolving. Video games become the foundation on which other forms of products and entertainment take shape. We cannot help but think about the recent and upcoming releases of adaptations of video games to success!
A passion that renews itself
Video games do not escape the pangs of time either. Yesterday’s success quickly loses its appeal when compared to recent games. This is also why many development studios keep coming out of newer versions of their games. That said, take a different approach. Rather than serve a finished product that will be renewed every year … the development studios offer content that is constantly evolving.
Take for example the case of a game like Soldiers INC. No need to make multiple volumes of the same game when you can update to bring new content. Thus, when the developers wanted to integrate the elements of the franchise “Alien vs. Predator” to the game, they were not forced to develop a new one. And above all, this way of proceeding allows the players to avoid additional expenses.
It should be noted, however, that Plarium is one of the few studios that take this approach. Even among the developers, there are studios that charge updates and other expansions to players. Without guaranteeing that they will be happy with the changes, or that they will be able to backtrack once the transaction is completed.

ESCAPE GAMES IN REAL LIFE
Have you ever felt an urge to go out immediately? In real life, it’s not always possible to get out of the current situation, but that’s no problem in escape games. Whether you are on a computer, tablet or smartphone, escape, at least in your head. You will have to work your brain to get out of these closed places.
In escape games, you start between four walls and a ceiling, but the themes and settings are varied, whether they are pretty and colorful in Escape Christmas Room or horrifying in The House of Terror. You have to go out at any cost, but the room is not going to make it easy for you. Secrets are hidden in every corner and under every object. Your first task? Search carefully. Examine every step of your new universe if you want to hope to come out one day. Escape games force you to use your MacGyver observation gift and skills. Use the objects you find. Assemble them, associate them, disassemble them and put them in their place in the room. Solve all the puzzles you encounter. You can even play versions of Portal.
Leave camp for an appointment with your half in Escape Camp, get out of a sublime room in Victorian Room Escape or just help Mimou the cat to escape. Our more than 100 escape games provide you with addictive and captivating entertainment.
You do not know what the term Escape Game or Escape the Room means? We explain everything about this concept that was created in Japan, as its name indicates … not? Originally, the Escape Games were virtual: a video game where it is a question of escaping from a room in which a player is locked up. For that, it was necessary to discover elements hidden in the decoration in order to find a key which would allow the player to escape from the room. Today, Escape Games have come to invade the real world! The principle remains the same: to escape from a room in a limited time by looking for clues and by making its gray cells work. The only difference? The game is played in groups: everyone brings something, whatever their skills.
In 2016, there were already nearly 20 establishments offering rooms with varied atmospheres. Today, they bloom everywhere. Why this success? The Escape Games allow players to take on a challenge and have a sense of accomplishment, to live an adventure that comes out of everyday life in a new setting, to embody a fictional character, to feel emotions like fear, surprise, tension, joy. What relationship with your classes? More and more teachers are seizing the concept in order to teach differently and motivate students through playfulness and team spirit.
Limited time: players must generally escape from the room in less than 1 hour or 45 minutes.
Generally, this is a team game that allows to bring in the different types of intelligence of the members of the group.
The game is built around a story, in a setting suitable for more immersion.
In general, the game starts with the search of the room. We then assemble objects, decipher codes and solve puzzles. The assembly of the information and the elements recovered during the puzzles makes it possible to solve the final enigma to escape.
If riddle A leads to riddle B and riddle C, players can be blocked more easily. The ability to solve multiple riddles simultaneously makes the game more dynamic.
In the rooms of Escape Games you will find secret doors, code boxes, padlocks, invisible ink, sound effects (alarms, distressing music …), light effects (laser, low light, black light …) ), magnetic objects that activate mechanisms, objects that come together. Everything to get in the shoes of a detective or a spy!
7 good reasons to create an educational Escape Game
1- Develop a sense of observation of your students
2- Promote communication and organization within a group
3- Make their logic work
4- Using collective intelligence
5- Motivate students in learning through playfulness
6- Use an original format to review course concepts or to introduce new ones
7- Get out of the routine by teaching differently
How to adapt an Escape Game to the school environment
- You certainly cannot lock up your students? But the purpose of the game – “escape” – can very well be changed by “find an object and/or destroy it, stop it”. They may also be forced to stay in the room by the story (the presence of dangerous zombies in the rest of the college or the triggering of an alarm for example!).
- It can be difficult to achieve an Escape Game with 30 students: for everyone to participate, you can do it in half-class with two teams that will participate in two Escape Games (separate or not). You can also use two classrooms, with the help of a colleague or a large room divided into two “playgrounds” such as the refectory, the CDI or the gym.
- You do not necessarily need to go find many objects and move furniture to create a decor: adapt the story to the school environment! For example, the science lab to stop an epidemic in college, a student who would have disappeared from a classroom the day before, the computer room to unmask hackers, the CDI in the footsteps of a young writer and his precious treasure … And do not forget, if the decor accessories that you have integrated to hide the clues show in relation to the rest of the room, the students will find them too quickly, especially if they know the place well!
- Student safety is an important point. Here is a road map to distribute before starting with the rules of the game and safety: do not use force, do not climb, do not sneak, and do not disassemble an object or furniture (Yes, some may be a little too involved in looking for clues??).
- The interdisciplinary aspect can be particularly interesting in order to vary the enigmas: the math’s to decipher a code, the physics-chemistry to activate a light with an electric circuit …
Write your scenario in 9 steps
- List the concepts that you would like to have your students review and/or those you would like them to discover and determine how long the game should last.
- Establish the general context and narrative elements that will form the fabric of the story, based on these notions.
- What happened? What is the triggering situation? In other words, why do students have to find/deactivate an object or escape from the room?
- What is the end object to find, disable, and destroy? (A timer, an alarm, a secret document, a light signal …)
- What will happen if students fail?
- Who are the characters in the story? What is their personality? It can, for example, be reflected in their personal effects.
- What are the elements (between 3 and 6 depending on the duration of the game) to assemble to be able to find the final object?
- Write the riddles (using the concepts) that will allow your students to find the elements to assemble. Think of diversifying the riddles?
- What should they look for to find these riddles? A lamp to read an invisible message, a key that opens a padlocked box, a password on a computer, an usb key hidden in a hollow book, a flash code, a puzzle to assemble, a grid of crosswords to fill?
All you need to do is write the mission statement that your students will have when they start the game!
Some ideas for sowing clues:
Lemon juice?? Write your message with the juice of a lemon as ink and a cotton swab as a feather. Once your invisible ink is dry, your students will have to approach the paper near a light bulb to see your secret message.
Steam?? Write a message on a window or mirror by dipping your finger in a greasy body. Your students will need to create steam by blowing on the glass to display the message.
Lawyer, Cassis, Cassette…?? This is not a shopping list but the keys to decode a message! Lawyer: A is K. This is the same principle as the Caesar code: an offset cipher that uses the substitution of one letter for another later in the alphabet. It also works with Voted (A is T). One can also use numbers on the same principle with the following keys: Cassis K = 6, Cassette K = 7 Strait (D = 3) and Indian (1 said N), etc.
Crosswords? Filling a grid of words allows students to work on concepts and vocabulary but can also hide a clue. For example, you can highlight some boxes with colors: the letters in the box must be put back in order to form the index.
The map with holes?? It is a question of hiding in a long text, words which, once isolated from the rest of the text, form a sentence. To isolate them: overlay a cardboard over the text and cut holes in the words forming the index. Your students will only have to find the hole card and place it in the right direction, above the text?
